Purpose
ACMP's mission is to encourage people from all over the world to play chamber music for enjoyment and pleasure.
As the world’s only foundation with grant programs for amateur chamber music, ACMP prides itself in supporting programs that kindle the sheer joy of music and emphasize active participatory chamber music experiences, education and training for adult amateur musicians.
Grant recipients represent a large range of organizers, from individuals to organizations with an annual budget of $500,000 USD or less.
Chamber music is defined as small-ensemble playing or singing, with one musician on a part and without a conductor.
